Impressionistic Oil Drawing

Oil study on canvas board, signed verso, unframed, depicting an intimate domestic scene rendered in a loose, impressionistic style. A seated figure occupies the foreground, their form simplified into soft strokes of pink, yellow, and green that blend with the surrounding space. The figure sits against a warm ochre wall, while a small stool in bright yellow adds a luminous accent. In the background, an arched doorway opens into another room where a table and chairs are faintly visible, painted in muted browns and grays that contrast with the warmth of the foreground. The brushwork is expressive and textured, with colors layered in broad strokes that emphasize atmosphere over detail. So tranquil and charming..
