Large Surreal Celestial Oil Compostion

Large dreamlike composition, signed and dated 86 lower right, where day and night coexist in a fantastical dreamscape. A radiant sun with a human face dominates the upper right, surrounded by flame-like golden and crimson rays. Below it, a luminous turquoise, ringed planet floats across the horizon. In the upper left, a ghostly face appears to blow a stream of wind mist into the background, animating the sky. The lower half shifts into night, where a crescent moon with a delicate profile glows beside stylized curling waves and scattered stars.

Rendered in rich blues, golds, and reds, the painting blends surrealism, mythology, and folk-art imagery into a poetic meditation on the cosmos. Fantastical!
