Lush Watercolour Floral on Paper

Lush, atmospheric watercolour on paper, signed lower left, depicting an abundant floral arrangement in a patterned vase, dissolved into layers of soft color and fluid gesture. Blooms in deep plum, mauve, violet, cream, and touches of green seem to emerge and recede through misty washes, giving the bouquet a dreamlike, almost improvisational presence. Petals, leaves, and shadows blur into one another, creating movement and depth through transparency, bleeding edges, and rich tonal pooling. Hints of a tabletop and a second decorative vessel anchor the composition, but the painting remains more evocative than descriptive. Romantic and expressive, with a beautiful balance between control and spontaneity. It feels vibrant yet soft, as though light, moisture, and blossom have all been captured in the same breath.
