Mid Century Oil Interior Scene on Canvas

Mid century oil on canvas board, signed and dated 1966 lower right, depicting an intimate interior scene. The composition shows a nude woman with auburn hair seen from behind, caught in a natural, unposed moment as she leans toward a curtained window. Her posture suggests curiosity or contemplation, with one hand resting on the window ledge and the other arm extending backward for balance.

The bedroom is subtly detailed with a wooden nightstand holding a small clock, a partially visible bed and a wall painted in a teal-green tone. A gilded decorative mirror on the wall adds an ornate touch, contrasting with the otherwise modest furnishings. A fleeting moment is captured with a wonderful mid century sensibility!
