Mixed Media Collage Work
Dense, psychologically charged mixed media composition, framed with anti glare glass, built from layered photographs, torn papers, painted passages, and symbolic fragments. At its core, a blurred human face appears to emerge and dissolve at once, as if suspended between memory and erasure. The artist interweaves monochrome photographic textures with gestural black brushstrokes, creating a restless rhythm that pulls the eye across the surface. Clock faces punctuate the upper section. Surrounding them are architectural grids, cut-out figures, and fragments of objects that read like remnants of personal history. Near the bottom, a sepia-toned vintage image of children in a stroller introduces a nostalgic note, contrasting with harsher, more abstract marks elsewhere.
Atmospheric and layered, itβs part dreamscape, part archaeological dig through memory, a haunting visual palimpsest.
