Oil Painting on Canvas of a Girl
$120
One of a kind: there is only one.
Oil on canvas painting of a young girl standing among tall wheat, signed lower right. She wears a bright red top and a wide straw hat, her face partly hidden by the golden stalks in the foreground. The wheat creates a soft screen between the viewer and the child, giving the scene a feeling of curiosity, shyness, and discovery.
On the right, a delicate branch with dried leaves adds a poetic detail, balancing the figure and giving the painting a slightly nostalgic, late-summer feeling. Playful and contemplative, it’s like a remembered childhood moment spent hiding, exploring, or watching the world from within nature.
