Purple Leopard Hiding in the Grass, Acrylic on Canvas

A bold, joyful original painting of a purple leopard peering out from tall grass, its glowing yellow eyes fixed right on you. The grass is built from layers of lively green, teal and chartreuse strokes that weave across the cat's face and body, so it feels like it's really hiding in there. It's playful and full of colour, with a nod to Henri Rousseau's jungle scenes and Franz Marc's colourful animals.
