Sweet Mixed Media Work
$80
One of a kind: there is only one.
Charming mixed media work of a child’s imagined garden scene, built from paper, fabric, drawing, and collage. At the center, a small figure stands in a field of bright turquoise grass marks, wearing a yellow dress with black dots, reddish yarn hair, and a soft fabric hat. The background is a pale green board, with two cut-paper clouds floating above and small pasted details scattered throughout: flowers, insects, and little fabric appliqués.
In the lower left corner, a handwritten note reads:
“The love in your heart wasn’t put there to stay. Love isn’t love till you give it away.”
So sweet and sincere!
