Watercolour Painting of Winter Sleigh Ride

Wonderful watercolour landscape on paper, framed under anti glare glass, signed lower right, it captures a quiet winter sleigh ride through a snowy woodland. A small red sleigh, drawn by a grey horse, carries a group of bundled-up figures along a pale blue-shadowed path. The bright sleigh becomes the warm focal point against the soft whites and creams of the snow.

The surrounding forest is loosely but sensitively rendered: dark evergreens frame the scene on the left and right, while tall, slender bare trunks rise in the distance.
