Oil Impasto Painting of a Candle on Canvas Board

Richly textured oil on canvas, unsigned, depicting a burning candle. The thick impasto surface creates a rugged, almost sculptural presence, with the white flame rising delicately at the center. Surrounding the candle, a sweeping arch of fiery oranges and golds glows against the dark background, evoking both warmth and radiance. Below, deep shades of turquoise and blue suggest a reflective surface, heightening the contrast between light and shadow. The composition captures the candle as a symbol of illumination and endurance, standing bright amid surrounding darkness. Fantastic!
